How am I not going to dress my child in animal costumes 24/7?!?

So my wife is having our first kid in June and we already know that she’s going to be a girl. Some of our friends have been really generous and donated bags and bags of baby clothes to us, so that it looks as though we might not have to buy very many ourselves.
However, although I really really appreciate all the free clothes, I can’t help but notice a running theme in all of them: Pink.
Now, I’m not saying I’m necessarily a feminist… but what the fuck. And I know it’s not just our friends that bought all the pink stuff in the first place, as a lot of it will be presents and other donations, but still… what the fuck.
From looking at baby clothes myself I can see that there is a really disgusting gender gap between girl’s clothes and boy’s clothes with not much cool stuff in-between. I don’t dislike pink per-se and some of the pink ‘girly’ outfits are pretty cute but I don’t want my daughter to be into pink unless she expresses a natural interest in it - in which case that’s cool. I have my own selfish perceptions of what I’d like her to grow up like and be into (dinosaurs, riot grrl music) but I also know that I’ve got to hold back and let her decide what she likes.
In the meantime though - while she is still a baby and unable to make gender-y decisions herself - damn straight I am going to be buying her animal outfits because:
a) They are non-gender specific and she’ll be getting bought enough girly stuff from other people
b) Babies in animal costumes look FUCKING COOL.
